Editorial Policy

Racket Chronicle publishes guides, explainers and news about padel, pickleball and tennis. This page sets out how that content is researched, sourced, credited and corrected, so readers can judge how far to rely on it.

How We Research and Source

Guides take their figures from primary documents: the official rulebooks of governing bodies such as the International Padel Federation, the International Tennis Federation and USA Pickleball, manufacturer product pages, and full retailer catalog pages. Search snippets and recollection are not accepted as sources. Court dimensions, equipment limits and scoring rules are checked against the current rulebook before they are published.

Claims that cannot be verified against a named source are cut, not softened into guesses. Prices, market figures and estimates are attributed to their source and dated, so a reader can see when a number was true.

News posts report on developments covered by named outlets, coaches, clubs, governing bodies and local authorities. Each post names the source it draws on in the text and links to it where a link is available. Racket Chronicle does not present another outlet’s reporting as its own.

Authorship, Images and Independence

Every article carries a byline naming the person responsible for it. Bylines are real names, and the site does not publish under pseudonyms or generic accounts. The people behind Racket Chronicle are listed on the About Us page.

Images are licensed stock photography from Depositphotos unless a credit line says otherwise. A stock image illustrates a topic and is not a photograph of the specific event, club or person named in the article.

Some articles contain affiliate links. Commissions do not change what an article says about a product, and the arrangements are set out in full on the Disclosure Statement page.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected when they are found and verified. The process for reporting and publishing a correction is described on the Corrections Policy page.
