Corrections Policy

Racket Chronicle corrects factual errors in its articles. A reader who finds a mistake can report it, and a verified error is fixed in the article itself.

How to Report an Error

Email newsdesk@peartreemedia.co with the address of the page, the statement that appears to be wrong, and a source for the correct information where one is available. Reports are read by the editor, Jarrod Partridge, and each one is checked against the cited source before any change is made.

How Corrections Are Made

Typographical errors and formatting faults are fixed without a note. A correction that changes a figure, a name, a date, a rule or the meaning of a statement is made in the body of the article, and a dated note at the foot of the article states what was changed. Articles are not quietly rewritten to remove an error that readers may already have seen or shared.

Where a report turns out to be mistaken, the editor replies to the sender with the source that supports the original statement.
